I'm Candice

Pull up a chair and grab a coffee. If you’re a fellow spoonie looking for easy plant-based recipes and ideas on how to keep active even when you’re in a pain flare or having a bad brain day, I got you.

Life as a spoonie

I was once a very active person who ran marathons, did circus aerial arts and loved to travel and go out with friends. A pretty typical 30-something human, really!

Then, in my early 40s, I started having pain that just didn’t go away. That lead me down a long road of figuring out what was going on and eventually, to a diagnosis.
